The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has laid charges against Mark Lawrence Ivil (58) in the Tauranga District Court.

A former immigration official and his associate have pleaded guilty in the Auckland District Court today to corruption and bribery charges laid by the Serious Fraud Office (SFO).

Andrew Hrothgar Robinson has been sentenced in the Auckland High Court today to six years’ imprisonment for fraud. Mr Robinson is a former financial advisor and director of Auckland based company, Strategic Planning Group Limited (SPG).

Peter John Scutts was sentenced in the Auckland High Court today to eight months on home detention.

Kairuaiti Tangata Oropai Robert Kairua (Robert Kairua) has been sentenced to three years and nine months’ imprisonment in the Auckland District Court today.
